I was contacted by NC Gears about a gathering that are doing on July 31st.
Below is the information. I am not sure if anyone want to or can organize
this: it will be a good discussion for everyone. I have an e-mail for a
contact from NC Gears if anyone wants to contact them for more information.

from NC Gears:
As
you may already we, the NC Gears, are hosting a picnic on the
ALL TEAMS ARE INVITED.
We have a pavilion reserved until 3:00 but there
is nothing stopping us from using the beach until well after dark.
Since this is the first time for what we hope is
an annual event, there will be no food supplied.
We look forward to seeing you and your families
for this fun and relaxing chance to get together with other teams in the off
season.
It would be cool to bring team shirts for photos
and so we all know where each other is from
